Arizona Geology: Arizona moves into 3rd for solar energy installed

Brewer's office this afternoon reports that Arizona ranked 3rd nationally in 2011 with nearly 4800 jobs in the solar energy field, according to the National Solar Jobs Census, issued in October by The Solar Foundation.

Solar Panel Test

A sunny day, This is the first test of my home made solar panel. Time is about 5:30 PM and sun is out, Not the best time of the day to test, but it does make power. Open circuit voltage is 9.0 Short circuit current is 5.2 amps. About 40 Watts. Next step is to seal it all up
