Passive Solar Air Heater Heating System Alternative Energy

October 31st, 2009

This is a video of the Passive Solar Heating System in use at http://www.envirosponsible.com in Whitby, Ontario, Canada.

It provides a great deal of heat, and the installer, Chris, will be making it more effecient by adding a second computer fan to push the warm air at the top, painting the inside better and taping the duct work. Also, the duct work will be directed into the office where the door can be closed and used in a smaller air mass.

Visit our site at envirosponsible.com or call us at 905-666-2002.

Solar Tower – EnviroMission reduces green house CO2 emission

October 23rd, 2009

EnviroMission, Ltd. (www.enviromission.com.au; US Stock Market: EVOMY, Australian Stock Exchange: EVM) is a renewable energy developer of sustainable “green” energy solutions for the energy market. EnviroMission aims to be one of Australia’s leading producers of clean renewable energy. EnviroMission holds the proprietary rights to Solar Tower technology, a large-scale renewable energy technology based on simple fundamentals of physics — hot air rises. Solar Tower technology has the potential to offer competitive renewable energy with equal reliability to fossil fuel generators.

A single 200MW Solar Tower power station will provide enough electricity to power around 400,000 households. The energy output will represent an annual saving of more than 1,960,000 tonnes of greenhouse CO2 gases from entering the environment when compared to brown coal emissions in Victoria. The greenhouse savings equate to the removal of approximately 500,000 cars from the road. The Australian Solar Tower project consists of six distinct phases, the first two of which (project optimization and pre-feasibility commercialization) have already been completed. The third phase (final feasibility), paving the way for the implementation of the next three phases (final design, construction, and commercial operation).

Solar Power For Homes – Important News

October 17th, 2009

http://www.EnergyBrainiac.com – Solar Power For Homes – Important News
Solar power for homes is a great way to save money, while protecting the environment. It truly is rather ironic, when you consider how much time, effort, and money has been dedicated to acquiring more fossil fuel. The purchase of fuel from other countries, as well as the drilling for fuel domestically, has cost literally billions of dollars. Imagine if this time, effort, and money had been used to equip each home with solar energy…

Solar energy creates zero pollution, does not harm the environment, and it is always available. It seems only natural that we would be exploring solar power as an alternative, or even as a primary source of energy. Although initially, installing solar power can be a bit costly, the long term result is sure to be that of great savings.

Solar power is used to heat many swimming pools, which will add weeks up to even a month or more of swimming time each season. There are several different ways in which this can be done. Sun domes cover your pool and allows the water temperature to become fifteen to twenty degrees warmer, while keeping out bugs and debris. They also include a door, and several windows. Solar pool heaters, and solar panels, heat your pool’s water by circulating the warmed water through your pools existing pump.

Solar power for home water heaters is an excellent, money saving choice. Basically, the water is deposited into a collection tank, where it’s heated by the sun, and then sent to a storage tank where it is available for use as needed.

The creation of electricity is another fantastic benefit of using solar power for homes. This will allow people to free themselves of traditional electric companies and become more self sufficient. There are times when there is less sun available, though. In these cases, an alternative green power can be utilized in order to make up the difference. It’s absolutely possible to operate a home on only renewable energy sources.

Solar power for homes allows many homes to be heated, or even cooled. This is seriously the way of the future. In the short term and long term it can substantially ease the load on your pocketbook and it’s without a doubt more beneficial. Solar energy is a renewable source of energy, which benefit’s the entire planet.
